FatWA on Dic's Bastard Play!

Has Part of their 'On The Edge Season' Chapter Arts Centre, Caerdydd put on a one night ''Script in Hand'' performance of Franco's Bastard by Dic Edwards. Unfortunatly, I did not know about this until it was too late to call up a Patriotic Protest, other wise I would have for sure. I do not follow the Christian line of ''turning my cheek'' to insults but much prefer the Muslim line, that believes ''Insults must be answered in kind''. I am mindful that when a play was put on in Birmingham derogative to Muslims, there was such protest demonstrations, it was quickly cancelled, there would be great howls and screams by the petite bourgeouise ''Saxon Shilling'' grant grabbers of our Colonial Crachach Arts Establishment if such was suggested regards ''DIC's BASTARD PLAY''. far from me to suggest that ''Brit free speech'' is stifled but patriots damn well know, that this so called ''Brit free speech'' is funded by ''Saxon Shillings'', we also are aware that if ever the script of a pro - Cayo play got presented before the ''Light fingered Lickspittals'' responsible for the ''Brit Arts'' in Wales, we would more than likly hear that it's been snowing in hell than such a patriotic play geting a grant. So ''B******* to the Bourgeouise'' and their talk of so called ''Brit Free Speech'', just one word RUBBISH!, and thus.........

just in case this Dic Edwards Bastard Play goes on tour, or plays again at CAC? Thus in advance and in possible liklihood, I put this posting up here and now, in case I am not around to do so at a later date?

(The 'FatWa' that's a bit of a joke, like Dic Edwards ok! after all he's no ''Rushdie'', even though it does appear he's been very busy grant grabbing over the years) Whatever, this guy is only worth Custard Pie treatment, and for why just go and see his dribble, drama at it's ''lickspittal'' best, if it ever gets put on at a theatre near you? Five years after they first showed it, it's back on the boards, well for one quickie reading. Last time it was shown in 2002, I endured the performence to the end, politly waited for the cast to take their bows and then I did a kind of ''John Wilkes Booth'',jumped on the stage, and for about 10 minues give the audience my appraisal of Dic Edwards and his dribbling dilettantism.

See below quotes from reviews of FB, for more information then just search web for Dic Edwards and Franco Bastard for some illumination on the career of Dic Edwards and history of FB since 2002, not been performed in public much but doing well otherwise, in published script form around schools and colleges etc. Plus of course subject matter for the ''Crachach Arts Chattering Classes'', plus fills some Arts/Theatre papers with ink in various reviews, more than likly by the friends of ''Sicko Dicko'', who just cannot get it together regards being 'Welsh'. Another one of those sad ''Hwntw Horrors'' as Kinnockio and Ko(family these days, all doing well thank you, over there in Europe!) and of course Leighton Andrews et al.

I suspect that sooner or later they may just decide to run this play again at CAC, in case they do, I shall call for protest in advance. Please note much below, is of use for patriotic protests, if ever this play appears else where in Wales, or goes on tour. I would patriotically propose patriots hold picket protests outside CAC for duration of play with placards stating reason for the protest picket in brief slogan form. I do suggest you see the play, just to see how low this dribble sinks into the ''Mud of Malevolance'', to be jury and judge on this Judus Dic Edwards, more than rewarded by 30 pieces of silver from the colonial collaborating crachach arts establishment. If you are to participate in protests at CAC why not take A4 size posters of photograph of Cayo in this posting (see below) to hold up before those that pass you by, on way to attend playing out of FB. If yourself are going in to view the play, I suggest you take the photo - poster in with you, and at conclusion of the play stand and hold it up and shout out loud ''Cayo am Byth'' or as he might wish it himself ''VIVA CAYO''. Regards other forms of patriotic protest, I am sure you will have your own constructive and creative ideas but keep it peacefull ok! or otherwise few will support the reasons for our protests. So, do note below my ideas regards a 'Theatr Y Ddadl - Adfywiad Agit Prop Art in Action'. I am not asking you to do anything that I have not done myself, this time around it's the turn of others to ''go buy the t-shirt and wear it''. Further, other than getting this posting up (also see posting in The Welsh Patriot blog http://welshpatriot.blogspot.com ) This is called thinking well ahead or maybe serving notice of patriotic intention on Dic Edwards and his Arts Crachach Cronies?

I produced the above for 2002 Protest Action, suggest you rework it for any possible needed future action, change date of course and then it will make a good poster and placard for your protests. Now read on about Third Act - Theatr y Ddadl - Theatr of Arguement /Theatre Adfywiad Gwladgarol, which when all said and done is perhaps the best form of creative and constructive protest, maybe? But, I cannot see any of the ''acting profession'' in Wales rushing forward to get involved with this and mess up chances with S4C or get part in 'Belonging', not slagging it off, after all ''Hwntws'' have to be thankful for small mercies, for TV progs on they and their communities. So, this means, we need patriots to perform in the below creative agitation.

PS: Now there will be those who take the oppinion and say oh ignore it! Forget Franco's Bastard, don't give it any more publicity than it deserves! etc, etc, the same thing is said about the English Royal family, ignore them! However, if your a really serious radical republican and militant nationalist then such ''turn your back'' and ''bury the head'' philosophy is not on your agenda, surely not? After all wise up patriots, do a search on the web for Dic Edwards/Franco's Bastard and see all the publicity this so called ''Creative Crap'' and Gombeen Dic Edwards gets. What Patriots need to do his make such a big pro-active patriotic protest that it hits the news and will go on the web and follow all the ''shinny shite'' bulling up this crap. So go on do it? IF PATRIOTS DO NOT PROTEST, WHAT KIND OF MISARABLE MESSAGE DO YOU THINK THAT SENDS OUT TO WALES AND THE WORLD?

Afterthought: Last week I spent some time at NLW researching, amongst other subjects on 1848 in Wales and Europe for a 2008 project I have in mind, this you will be informed of in time. Suffice to say now, that looking at a Welsh Paper published in 1848, I read of rebellion in Europe and Ireland in this year known now as ''The Spring of Nations''. London witnessed the great Chartist Rally on Kennington Common with the threat of revolution scaring the London parliamentarians, meanwhile in Wales following on publishing of the notorious ''Blue Books'', Welsh protest is mainly concerned with matters of an Anti - Welsh nature therein. That same year Victoria and her son ''Prince of Wales'' visits Caernarfon Castle with the locals falling over themselves in grovelling t0 the English Crown. Mean while in Merthyr Tudful, lord and Lady Guest return from an holiday, and the populace of that ''Insurrectionary Town'' also fall over themselves grovelling before their Capitalist exploiters. However, our one ''revolutionary saving face'' for 1848, was thankfully a ''Son of Liberty'' calling for Chartist protest in the town. Such did not come to much, but after 1816 and 1831 who can blame Merthyr people for not rising again in a third ''Bloody Insurrection''. The point Iwant to make is that at least a few people made a stand in Wales 1848, with history thus witness to this courage and committment, like wise history may one day read of your protest you may make be it at CAC or the ''Sham Senedd''.
