I had heard that Rhys Mwyn was producing a Canu Cayo album, and evidently it's been released but I cannot find much more information on this, does anyone out there know anything and where to get the CD? Let me know if you do. In the mean time check out the below, found this on the web, mystifies me a bit but I am not this ''Myspace Generation'', I think the below is some thing to do with Balchder Cymru (or an associate of theirs, as it's got their markings etc all over it) before they went all ''Tartan Taff'' Cambrianista Druming.

An older generation of Adfywiadwyr Gwladgarol had their years of Rebellion (see over at http://awnms.blogspot.com/ ) but the rebelliousness seemed to peter out post 1979, wonder why? Although Cofiwn activists were still at it in 1983 taking action against Gwyl y Cestyll (see over at http://cofiwn.blogspot.com/ ) . I guess others were too? Why not? simple our so called ''National Bourgeoisie'', inc ''Academia'' and ''Intelligentsia'', and ''Cultural Establishment'', are for the most part 'CRACHACH CRAP' aka ''Shite'' Lickspittal Running Dogs of English Imperialism and Neo Colonialism. All of which requires they in no way show any signs of protest against the English Crown, not least against the present and fourth coming English Pretender Prince of Wales.

Thus lets face they are selling out on Sovereignty (see SOFRANIAETH at http://sofraniaeth.blogspot.com/) by settling for the crumbs of Devolution Dilettantism, of which the aforementioned exhibition is a product of the usual cowardly ''Crachach Cymry'' self censorship and sanitizing of our history. Something this class has been good at since Tutor times, not least via the two Eisteddfod at Caerwys in reign of Elizabeth I of England. I suggest do not bother to visit the Exhibition, instead buy Rebel, Rebel and read it and become an ADFYWIADWR GWLADGAROL, whilst others, inc sadly, it seems Balchder Cymru just think about it, or are confused by the meaning of what being a Welsh Republican might be, see previous post.

CANU ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL, Patriotic Rebel Music, we have no rebel struggle, so let us at least learn some Rebel Patriotic Songs.

Two things have come to mind to prompt me into sticking this post up fast before I go off and about again, one was the matter of a certainb patriots anguish that a relative had not only joined the British Army but was also involved in recruiting for them. The other was hearing the news that Rhys Mwyn was going to release a CD of old Commandante Cayo FWA accordian music and Irish rebel songs, these two prompters are not unrelated. I remember being told by an ''Old Welsh Republican'' that they used to go into Dole Officers and Libraries and remove any British Army Recruiting leaflets, those were the days!!! That was many moons ago, in days of Pedr Lewis an ''Old Welsh Republican'' who was still active in the 70's and 80's with the Troops Out Movement, then this was an alliance of numerous radical Welsh Nationalists and Republicans with Socialists of many description who would hold Anti - British Army/Recruiting Protest Pickets and Demonstrations. NOT ANY MORE IT APPEARS??? Not by Welsh Nats/Reps anyway!

A recent Cardiff Demo/march/Rally against the setting up of a British Military Establisment at St Athens did not attract similar Nat/Rep support, mainly because PLAID dodged away from the issue, it's usual collective of Pacifist Anti - Militarist CND Supportes were warned that it could embarraz PLAID, not least it's WAG Coalitionists who favoured the setting up of a ''Welsh Sandhurst''. Jobs you see! thus to oppose could have lost them votes in recent election, dear me! I am sure if you do a clever search on web you will find more information on this but lets cut to the chase and get down to the music.

I have been told that Rhys Mwyn is to release a CD of rebel music and songs by our Commendant Cayo FWA. We have not much similar in Wales, we could really do with an Irish Style Rebel Ballad Band, all we have at the moment is ''Canu Cymraeg'' but that's not exactly really rebellious, is it? I would anyway like to see a band that sings to our ''anglicised'' youth in our ''anglicised'' areas. I mean songs like Tramp! Tramp! Tramp! the Boys are Marching, not as 'Yma o Hyd' and similar, we need songs that are a bit more combative than defensive. Plenty of Welsh Rebel songs about, in a number of Rebel Song books, but apart from ''Garibaldi'', I have heard of no one else who bothers to still sing them.
