GRAND SLAM AWAY THOSE ENGLISH THREE FEATHERS FOREVER!

OK! OK! OK! A Grand Slam, great stuff, Wonder full to be Welsh for a while, until we loose again? So, I am not particularly into ''Sports Nationalism'' and a Patriotism that stops at wearing those WRU Red Shirts with those three English feathers there upon. It just goes to show how far down the road we are, away from seeing our people well informed of their history, even Ray Gravelle so some TV Rugby pundit said was proud to wear those three English Feathers. Kind of ironic given the fact that Owain Glyndwr was one of his greatest heroes, it just about sums up a great deal about Wales and the Welsh, not least where Rugby is concerned, See ''Cambrianism'' in http://cofcenedl.blogspot.com Rugby is our most popular support, though football fans dispute this and many say it is only made to appear like that due to our ''Mediacrach'' for a verity of reasons. Suffice to say for a number of Nationalists it is a great pain that they have to support a Welsh Team that has the badge upon it, of the English Pretender Princes of Wales. It gets even worse, that it is the iconic symbol of the English Crown's conquest of Cymru in the middle ages, not least in our history, it represents well the ''Taffy Turncoats'' who fought for the English at Crecy and Azincourt. Sad to say, I have seen many Political Patriots, even radical republicans wearing the WRU shirt and not thinking just how patriotically pathetic it is to join in with sending the wrong messages to the people of Wales.

It has been said to me that I am banging my head against a wall to campaign against the three English Feathers, Adam Phillips of Balchder Cymru wants to adopt them as some kind of Welsh Nat Patriotic Symbol. Great Glyndwr! sadly the Welsh did, or rather the London Welsh did in 1715 and again in 1745 for all the wrong reasons much to our national shame. If continuing a righteous campaign means I have to bang my head against the wall, then I will go on banging my head against the wall, why not join me? I have produced for you below my own GRAND SLAM AWAY THOSE ENGLISH THREE FEATHERS design, why not reproduce as a T-Shirt Design, do yourself via PC transfer and iron on to T-Shirt yourselves, or take design to your local T-Shirt Printer to do.

Maybe print out your own post cards and stickers, put up on your blogs/websites the above and below Anti - Three Feather Adfywiad Agit - Prop Art Work, not least email far and wide. C`mon bang your head against the wall, no ones asking you to pick up a sword and go into battle and bleed for Cymru, just for a while become an ``head banger`` and do some good patriotic Cymric Consciousness Campaigning, yes! do it! do it now!.

Anyone out there who for one moment might consider themselves to have the makings of an ADFYWIADWYR GWLADGAROL, that is the Right Stuff! But who participated in that absolutly useless, so called Patriotic Parade to Pander to the ''Devolution Dilettante'' Assembly Politicians will have need to go back to their ''Patriot Game'' start. Others? well what can you expect from ''Good Ole Boys'' and ''Crach Fodder Camp Followers'' et al!

Unintentional mistakes can be forgiven, it is a product of at best no more than political confusion and patriotic bewilderment brought about by listening and following ''Wrap the Flag Around Me Knee Jerking Infantile Patriotism!'' Most will learn form their mistakes and grow out of wasting valuable time and become good radical activist Nationalists as a number are within the ranks of Balchder Cymru but even their members foolishly participated in Dydd Dewi Devolution Dancing at the ''Palace of Malice'' aka the ASSEMBLY OF APPEASEMENT WITH ENGLISH IMPERIALISM.

Now It's now time - 'To Sieze The Time For Sovereignty!'. So no more bloody APPEASEMENT and no more Dancing with Devolution Dilettantes ok! The likes of many so called ''Nationalists/Republicans'' will consider they have done no wrong but then they do not really think Radical, let alone think Politically, sadly many are ''Middle Roaders'', ''Fence Sitters'' or just the Politically Bewildered and Patriotically lazy. If this is not the case, why the hell were they parading to pander to that English Lord 'Dic Sion' Dyfed Ellis Thomas, now a pretty sick joke but a mighty privellaged one as you will see over at PWCA POWER http://pwcapower.blogspot.com/ Now this character would have no problem with the below, as he's made his pledge to the English Monarchy more than once but what about you despite your possible recent failings? Are you up for Surrendering our Sovereignty even more or are you up to some ''Sovereignty Struggle'' to make amends for any recent mistake you might have made by walking under that bridge into the Tiger Bay Triangle?

The American Indian Movement would not waste it's time on the Politicians, I can understand Plaidites up for this pandering to Politicians but membes of Balchder Cymru? Red Dragon Movement? Cymru Rydd? and these new ''Young Welsh Republicans?'' Oh yes! what about John 'Sion' Roberts and his ''Hornets'' of the MACYWFIAD ANNWFAN - The Future?. How did that 60's Nationalist Song go? something about........Underneath the Union Jack, we will never be free?.......I will tell you this much for free, if you continue to march mindlessly under Baner Dewi....You will never be free either?....that's the truth and Radical Nationalists really need to realise that or otherwise our Cymric Cause will conclude going down the drain of Devolution Dilettantism, trust me!

You may just parade on regardlessly and see where it gets you and our struggle for Welsh Independence? Parade as much as you like but at least carry fourth the patriotic call - WE DEMAND WELSH INDEPENDENCE NOW OK! Stop and Think! then DEMAND AND END TO DEVOLUTION - DEMAND A WELSH PARLIAMENT. Look! Listen! & Learn! from the Freedom Struggles of over peoples, not least the Baltic Peoples and those of Euskadi and Catalunya, stop being so SOPPY and SENTIMENTAL BUT RATHER BE RADICALLY RUTHLESS IN STRUGGLE TO SAVE OUR SOVEREIGNTY. Otherwise you will be stuck on a slide down a very SLIPPERY SLOPE TOWARDS THE DEAD END OF DEVOLUTION DEFEATISM AND DISILLUSIONMENT.

Lets be honest, what was achieved by that Dewi Day Parade 2008, caused a stirr in City Centre for a little while, after which along with the rest of the City, the populace as per usual ignored Dydd Dewi, you saw few Leeks or Daffodils being worn, good from my Adfywiad perspective but still it's a measure of a certain ''Welshness''. I will deal with this in greater detail elsewhere at another time, suffice to say now that I actually support the annual Dydd Dewi parade because, if there is no effort to hold such, then over the years ahead there will be nought to advance any ''Welshness'' over more and more ''Anglicisation'' or as they call it now ''Multi - Culturalism''. However?....

There are two things I am critical about re Dydd Dewi Parade, in main the lack of respect to 'Baner Glyndwr' and the fact that certain Patriots seem to think that this parade, is of great political nationalist signifigance over real Political Patriotic struggle, not least radical Nationalist/Republican Struggle in Caerdydd itself. To my mind and belief, I can see no reason why the annual Dydd Dewi Parade, anywhere, inc in Caerdydd is not the matter for local authorities, Chamber of Trades and Schools, not least Cultural Organisations as Yr Urdd et al, as in Abertawe and Colwyn Bay. If nationalists are to make contribution in practical participation to an annual National Parade in Caerdydd, then they should clearly do so as representing the Nationalist Movement and Struggle other wise they are wasting much valuable patriotic time and effort on rather flippant gestures of ''Wrap the Flag Around Me'' type of ''Knee Jerk Patriotism'' which gets our cause no where. As this year with Patriots parading to the ASSEMBLY OF APPEASEMENT, see pic below>

However, how can we expect much different when the annual Rali Cilmeri has become a platform for this type of posuer and posturing patriotism and not the place where radical 'Adfywiadwyr Gwladgarol' are made? As for so called ''Welsh Republicans'' participating in Dewi Day parading, particularly this year with it's patronising of ENGLISH LORD - 'Dic Sion' Dafydd Ellis Thomas and his ASSEMBLY of APPEASEMENT with English Imperialism, I am at best bemused! Should not ''Welsh Republicans'' be engaging themselves positivelly in Patriotic Protest day of Action around Caerdydd against British Army using Dydd Dewi to recruit, or be down the bay in Protest Action against the Assembly? No! I suppose not, this is Wales, not Ireland or Lithuania, Euskadi or Catalunya. However, it's on their Patriotic Concsious, if they have one? As for Dydd Dewi Parade, I hope the organisers will recognise the stupity of their slavishness servillty towards that Assembly and his English Lordship and next year maybe conclude the parade in Castell Caerdydd or in Millenium Stadium or Sophia Gardens. Not in the Bay increasingly Tir Crachach, to slip and slide up to Politicians, for what good purpose???

Unfortunately the most iconic symbol sported by the Welsh, is of course those patriotically hated Three Feathers of the English Pretender Princes of Wales. Yes! 1282 and all that! This symbols popularity is much due to sport and in particular Rugby (see Cambrianism in http://cofcenedl.blogspot.com/ ).

The Red Dragon is our oldest Iconic Symbol, the mythology of which I would hope you are already fully aware of, but what you may not be aware of the other than the legendary Red Dragon Baner of Cadwladr, the only Dragon flag we can historically testify to is, the Golden Dragon Flag of Owain Glyndwr. The Red Dragon flag in it's present form derives it's design from a Pennant used by Henry Tudor at the Battle of Bosworth, but it's present popular form was first contrived for use at the 1911 Investiture. Although not coming into mass popular use until about the 1950's, this is why, look as you may you will not see this Red Dragon flag used in 19th century photographs but more see Welsh crowds waving Union Jacks as many still do today.

Possibly one of the most authoritative of Welsh 'National' flags should be Baner Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, Llywelyn III 'Tywysog Cymru'. Unfortunately at his death this baner passed into the hands of the English Pretender Princes of Wales who continue to use it to this day, but with their 'English Crown' imposed on centre of Baner Llywelyn. I would urge Welsh Patriots to counter this by making their own 'Baner Llywelyn III' possibly with a small Black Celtic Cross imposed at centre, to remind of 'Y Croes Naid' also stolen by the English Crown at the Conquest of Wales in 1282.

As for the Daffodil as a so called ''National Emblem'', I remind that it was contrived from an idea from the mind of ''Welsh Wiz'' Lloyd George, for gentle ladies to wear at his 1911 Investiture. So not really Patriotic, certainly nothing a true Welsh Nationalist would want to wear. See picture below, the use of colours should not be lost on the patriotic mind, I hope?

So, that brings us to the Leek? One story I have heard is that the wearing of a leek or indeed any small plant of Green and White colours were worn by Tudor agents and supporters prior to 1485 as means of showing their support for the Grandson of Katherine of Valois, the future Henry VII. Green and white being the Livery Colours of the Tudors whose sycophantic Welsh Historian supporters invented the story of St David and the Leek. I do not if there is any truth in this but I guess it could be proved one way or another by knowledge of proven earliest reference?

The Cross of St David, of 1921 'Anglican Church' origins, used also as a symbol by Welsh Regiments during WWII. Popularised in recent times by self styled ''Mr Welsh Tourism'' John Wake who is also responsible for ''Tartan Taffery''. In recent years Cambria Magazine has much promoted use of this flag in association with their annual Dewi Day Parade in Caerdydd. It is though that it's promotion in many areas is due to it being thought that it is possibly more acceptable to ''English Incomers'' than otherwise more ''Nationalist Emblems'', what ''Muslim Incomers'' might think is another matter? It's advocacy is a major issue for the Welsh Christian Party who consider Dragons as symbols of the Devil, myself I just see it as not Nationalist enough. I certainly would not march behind this flag, if it was given preferred position over the premier flag of Cymru, Baner Glyndwr - the flag that mosts represents our national Sovereignty. Unfortunatly, too many patriots are not bothered by this matter but are quite happy to let this 'Baner Dewi' with it's doubtful roots lead before 'Baner Glyndwr'.
