This 'Adfywiad Sun' will give enough light to shine into every shadowy corner into every dark room in the house of defeat, despair and disillusionment. It will be this same 'Adfywiad Sun' that shall shine light upon and burn those who distort truths with the lies if ''Diletantte Distraction'' that lead patriots down the road to ruination of their cause and retreat from struggle. However, there is hope that will come to return within the hearts of the good and the true who will seek out the 'Adfywiad Sun', marching into it's eternal brightness that one day will shine upon an 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd'. Under the 'Adfywiad Sun' truth will spring fourth from the ''Rock of Cilmeri'' and once more the ''Sacred Acre'' shall witness around the ''Commemorative Cenotaph'' those who are not just ''Cilmeriaid Gwir'' but are truelly 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol'. Hold on 'Reality Check', Cilmeri? Me thinks that has reached it's ''Sell by date'' and have not those who gather there rather ''Lost the Plot'' as those who now gather there chose not to follow 'Baner Llywelyn' nor 'Baner Glyndwr' but instead follow the ''Anglican'' 'Cross of Saint David' and who have become one of the 'Knights of Saint David' of the 'MILTARY AND HOSPITALLER ORDER OF SAINT DAVID', and what ever cause they represent? it is certainly not mine, is it yours? Thus perhaps there is now another ''Rock'' for patriots to gather around to reach out for inspiration and aspiration. That being the ''Rock of Garreg Wasted'', is it not the case better to 'Cofia 1797' rather than 'Cofia 1282'.

To, on 3 June annually march into Merthyr Tudful to remember the I831 Insurrection and the massacre of the Castle Inn.

THERE FOLLOWS A WARM UP IN POST MILLENIUM MEANDERINGS AROUND MY MIND! 2007 - Mae'r Adfywiad Gwladgarol yn Dod. If you think I am going to bore you to death with more about Cilmeri, your wrong (or maybe not?) so read on and perhaps be suprised but Cilmeri etc will arise sooner rather than later but I promise you there will be much more to this 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru' blog than just Cilmeri etc. This posting was intended as the first, but never got around to completing it, so relax and enjoy has I take you on a journey of discovery in this meandering around my over fertile mind which very slowly with old father time catching up on me fast, often means I forget more that I can remember. My days of ''Hedge Teaching'' are all but over and so I retire to my ''Monkish Period'' surrounded by dusty folders and files, boxes of archive material thinking of that long unused library in that wonderful film ZARDOZ whilst listening to Julie Garland singing 'Some where over the Rainbow' on my CD player.

Beats Cilmeri yes? but seriously folks, the scene in ZARDOZ where Sean Connery, as a the '' brutal'' by the name of 'ZED' gets a copy of 'THE WIZARD OF OZ' mysteriosly thrown at him, to reveal much that up to then has mystified him. This scene in that film was similar to a relevation I had long ago, when a copy of the book 'Raise up the draw bridge' fell out of a class room cupboard I had been told to clean. That day was very much a turning point for a young lad, then about 14. I was attending ''Welsh Class'' and along with most of my young ''peers'' not a bit interested in learning bits of 'Cymraeg' nor keen on learning about Hywel Harris et al, that's all we got in ''Welsh Class''. The only 'Welsh History' we got was in fact ''Welsh Religious History''. That day I had been particularly ''naughty'' and told to stay behind and clean up the class room cupboards when I discovered the aforementioned Welsh History book with it's stirring tales of Welsh princes and chiefs in struggle against the 'Anglo - Normans'. So, I quickly finnished off cleaning the cupboards and snuck off home with this book (I did return it, honest!) to avidly read it from beginning to end in a few days. For sure that fuelled me fast forward toward Welsh Nationalism and with out doubt motivated me more than just a little toward Cofiwn and over 40 years as a ''Welsh Remembrancer'' and ''Hedge Teacher'' from Cofiwn to Ty Cenedl to Embassy Glyndwr. Now retired I can consume what time is left working on the web to advance knowledge and information on Welsh History (see my Cofiwn History Archive blog and other blogs, details else where) and also continue to be a ''naughty boy'' with my recent 'Cilmeri'40 Commemoration 1966 - 2006 Tribute blog and now this 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' blog.

Prior to my personal ''Zardoz Experience'' which was not the only factor that matured 'Welsh Patriotism' within me, before that my Mam who was an avid reader of Historical Biographies' but usually of people out of English history, used the library, often bringing home books. I would casually browse these books on occaision and so adding to my interest in history. My Mam also had a keen interest in Greek Mythology and I actually did come to know much more about that mythology, in my younger days more than Welsh Mythology. However, Mam one Xmas bought me an Illustrated Encyclopedia within which there was a chapter on the 'British Isles' consisting of England's four pages, Ireland three and Scotland two but Wales only one page.

Nevetheless even my young mind (about seven years, if I remember correctly) could work much out from the contents to realise what went wrong with Welsh History compared to that of Ireland and Scotland. My Dad had little interest in History, he was your 'Hwntw' personified with fanatical interest in Rugby and Boxing. My Dad was that ''Sports Welsh Patriot'' particularly when it came to Rugby, I had actually seen him before he died, crying if Wales lost and he would almost have an heart attack if England was giving Wales a pounding. Believe it or not, Dad often had to leave the room if an England v Wales was getting to be too close in the final minutes. Shortly before he died I managed to take him to Caerdydd to see the Millenium Stadium (from the outside) and make one last pilgrimage to Cardiff Market to check out the Budgies, his one other great passion in life being breeding birds (This is possibly why I am so fond of White Eagles? before you think I am mad, I am not serious that was off the cuff!). Dad's contribution to the development of my interest in history was buying me copies of 'Classic Illustrated' of which the history related stories interested me, and also otherwise ''Short Cut'' my knowledge of ''World literature''. He would also buy be 'Bufflo Bill' annuals at Xmas and this not only informed me of ''American Indians'' but produced in me a sympathy with their sad story, you will see how this leads me towards in time, the American Indian Movement. One big contribution Dad made to my 'Patriotic Awareness' was through Boxing in a round about way. He had been asked to make 'Red Dragon' designs for Dick Richardson's dressing gown , it was the 'Red Dragon' out of my aforementioned 'encylopedia' which Dad used for the design used.

I was quite ''chuffed about ''My'' Red Dragon being used in this way and that might seen me well on the way to becoming just a ''Sports Patriot'' if it was not for a Morgan Mounty, a young Welsh Speaking Farmers Son with whom I became friendly with, in my latter years at school, it was Morgan who informed me of the existance of Plaid Cymru - then an actual, for real WELSH NATIONALIST PARTY, even though I know that to be, more of a largelly rural and cultural ''Nationalist Party''. Whatever? more important perhaps was that Morgan also informed me of the ''illegal Underground'' radio broadcasts of this ''Welsh Nationalist Party'', it's from this point I start to get ''Politicised'' and begin to write 'Nationalist Slogans' in my school exercise books, on one occaision getting caned for it. Next came the daubing of Political Slogans at night on the school wall and I was not yet 15, things were sarting to move fast and within a matter of years I would after school having started work, join Plaid Cymru but then moved to Somerset to work but within a year or so of reading the Plaid Cymru paper, I decided to return to the homeland.

The rest is history of ''my 60's'', from Plaid Cymru to Patriotic Front and the great 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol 1962 - 69'. In which I helped to motivate and mobalise the Anti - Investiture Campaign, co - founding the Anti-Sais Front, later to become Patriotic Front in 1964. Then with Toni Lewis I co-founded the Cilmeri rally in 1966, then in 1967 organising Anti - Investiture Propaganda and in 1968 ''Taking to the streets'' with protest demonstrations against the Investiture and subsequently in 1969 arrested, tried and imprisoned. Following my release I soon decided to go into self imposed exile in Ireland for two years, return to Wales. Early 70's are my ''Political Left Years'' with first a small, with my brother the ''Welsh Socialist Vanguard'' group and later we helped co-found Cymru Goch I and also supported a Plaid Gwerin Cymru formed by Idwal Dyer. However, I find history rather than politics the stronger pull and from the mid - seventies up to the mid 80's it is with Cofiwn and Ty Cenedl I mostly focused my enthusiasm and effortin the cause of Wales. However, always still opptimistically hopeful of a second great 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' which never seems to arrive, and now do not really think ever will (I complete this post now after Cilmeri 2006)?

THIS IS MY FINAL ATTEMPT TO PROMPT ONE but it's only in theory, far as I am concerned, after about 45 Years as for most of those years an ''Adfywiadwr Activist' in one shape or form, I now consider myself retired. My last actual action was at the ''Sham Senedd'' on 31 Mawrth 2006, the story of which I will inform of in this blog at another time. So the actual patriotic practise of any 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd' I shall leave to a younger generation. Guys! give me a break but in reality I am far from retired but have this blog and other blogs and Web sites to work on which leaves me with little time to motivate and mobalise further 'Patriotic Resurgence'. Any pracrical effort would be weakened by age and by enthusiasm blunted by the apathy that abounds in the ''Alternative Nationalist Movement'' now pretty misarably moribound apart from the ''Patrioticly Challenged'' pathetic antics of such ''knee jerk patriotism'' of 'Balchder Cymru' and 'Cymru Rhydd' aka so called 'Welsh Republican Party'. Sad to say, both ''Politically Challenged'' in their nonsensical ''Retro - Romantic Rubbishy'' so called and self percieved ''Welsh Republicanism''.

I pretty much regard myself and many who are of my ''Alternative Nationalist'' generation to be ''Yester days Men'', it will require an entirely new generation of Patriots, whom must be potential 'RADICAL NATIONALISTS' to establish a serious 'NEW ALTERNATIVE NATIONALISM'. Thus this 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru' weblog, is here to prompt thinking not propose anything specific as a patriotic solution. If a younger generation want to make of this an actual 'MUDIAD ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL CYMRU', then they are going to have to work at it a lot harder than being just ''Bachder Boyos'' and ''Cymru Rydd Crackers''. No! your going to have to work hard at becoming an 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol' or otherwise you will just end up as a 'PINT POT PERIPHERAL PATRIOT' or worse perhaps nought but a ''TARTAN TAFF''. Have no fear, this blog will aid and assist you toward 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' enlightenment, enthusiasm produce within you the effort to continue Radical Nationalist Alternative Nationalist Struggle in a ''worldly wise way'' which will also help keep you well out of harms way. Although as an 'Adfywiadywr Gwladgarol' you will tread the path that more moderate nationalists will fear to tread and where ''Cultural Nationalists'' have no care to go?

I really mean some ''Esoteric Wisdom'' aka 'Hermetic Knowledge' as best read in any number of books but have a go at Umberto Eco's 'Foucaults Pendulum' first, follow it up with 'Sophie's World' by Jostain Gaarder and begin a long read through the Illuminatus! triology by Robert Anton Wilson plus of course; The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail by Henry Lincoln & Co but of course, it's only a good read, read into it no more than that, there is no great mystery about it all, the priest was just good at writting begging letters.

Nevertheless do not dispell from your mind the Cathar faith born in ''fury and fire'', remember it was on 'Dydd Dewi' that the Cathars at Montsegur surrendered and soon after Esclaramonde, high priestess of the Cathars was burnt, but her spirit was released in form of a dove. You will be reading much of the Cathars in this blog and become illuminated to much but suffice to say for the most part I shall be informing you of the Counts of Foix (Pn fwa, did you get that, I will repeat it again 'fwa!)) and their gallant stand against the Franks and other ''Northern Babarians'' sent against them. You will also learn of the 'Faidits' usually they were Cathar Knights robbed of their lands and made outlaws much same as our 'Gwerin Owain', they too were to continue resistance to the 'Christian Crusaders'. The 'Faidits' were a ''Banditary of angry men looking for revenge'' from their hidden lairs high up in the Pyranees or from more safe bases in Catalonia. Search web for books on Cathars and the Crusades against them, a good fictional read at moment on the above subject is Labyrinth by Kate Mosse also Romanitas by Sophia MacDougal, have not got around to reading this yet, it's an alternative history story set in present times with the Roman Empire still in existance. Of some interest is fact that the 'Anti - Roman Freedom Fighters' are based in the Pyranees. In passing I cannot help but comment that there seems to be a lot of good fiction out on the book shelves these days and much of it written by women, another example and plug, is 'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostova. I suppose after years spent as a ''Welsh Remembrancer'' with Cofiwn, it figures I would have not only an interest in the dead but also the ''Undead'' aka Vampires, but not many Welsh ones about, though I do know of one female Vampire.

You will have noted above my interest in the ''Esotericism'' of the Cathars and in 'Alternative History', guess it goes with my 'Alternative Nationalism' but I also have a great interest in the Gothic. I hope from time to time to share some of this interest with you on this site where it becomes of Interest and connection.

Although, perhaps by next year I will have my Gothic Web Site up and running and introduce you to some ''Welsh Werewolves' which will hopefully enthuse and excite some action out of our patriotic ''Grey Wolves'', former but now aging 'Adfywiadwyr Glatgarol'. Sadly of whom the best are dead or are dieing away, more and more leaving us with for most part all that's left is the now Post Devolution ''Debris'' of 'TO DREAM OF FREEDOM'. Even more sadly is the fact that many of these had become no more than the Pre - Devolution ''Good Ole Boys of Peripheral Pint Pot Patriots'' (although a few were that way bent anyway, from the very beginning). Worse however, is that a few have even converted to that growing Spuedo Welsh Patriotism of ''TARTAN TAFFERY'' but what can one expect from those who would follow in the foolish foot steps of those who believe they are ''Arwyr Gododdin'' seeking some silly ''Valhalla of Vanity'' at Cilmeri's 'Sacred Acre'.

I remind such self styled ''Heroes'' that the wolves and the ravens fed off the dead drunk bodies of the 'Arwyr Gododdin' but still, some where out there are perhaps, when attending patriotic gatherings there may be seen still ''Pensioneer Patriots'' who one may truelly call ''Hen Cymorodor'', ''Hen Cilmeriaid Gwir'' and not least patriots who were 'Adfywiadwr Gwladgarol'. These must become our patriotic ''Grey Wolves'', men as 'Adfywiadwr' Gwladgarol' Glyn Rowlands the Lone Wolf of Corris.

Whilst talking about Corris, please note that the BRAICH GOCH BUNKHOUSE in Corris makes a wonderful centre for a weekend of outdoor activities as walking, climbing and getting on to rivers and lakes plus 'mountain biking'. For the younger 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol' far better you spent time here for a weekend of following the RED STAG into the wild woods of central Cymru, learning the history and ways of the 'Gwerin Owain' and the way of the ''Welsh Outlaws'' . As for our ''Grey Wolves'' do note you can spend a more easy and compfortable weekend, rambling about Corris or even reading, playing snooker or even watching videos or DVD's as I did when I was there, finaly got to see Niclolas Cage in 'National Treasure' and Tom Cruise in 'War of the Worlds'. No, it did not ''acculturalise'' me and don't take it as ''Written in Stone'' that one must shut one self off from other cultures be they old or new. Nor does one need to be ''automatically'' Anti - American full stop because of what they did to the 'First Peoples' of America and what they are doing now in Iraq. Do note 'Anti - Americanism' has it's roots in 19th Century right wing ruling class Nationalism and was further used by 20th century Facism. Both the European Right and Left have inherited ''Anti - American Knee Jerkism'' or otherwise we would see many more marching to end atrocities in Darfur and not just marching against American occupation of Iraq, get the point!

Which brings be to the Goddess 'Ishtar' of Babylon, here seen similar to statuette seen on display at the National Museum of Wales, what other connection may she have with Wales? Ishtar is the most ancient of eastern Goddesses. Much knowledge of Ishtar comes down to us from the epic story of Gilgamesh which has become through history the template for all epic tales and indeed ''stereo typical heroes''. As all epics rather long winded but not so much a difficult read as the 'WHITE GODDESS'' by Robert Graves, both Robert Graves have close connections with our homeland, WHAT ARE THEY? Ishtar by the way is the Goddess of War and Love, her star is Venus. Whilst on subject of Goddesses, a reminder that the ancient Celts had plenty, but how many are you aware of? On subject of ancient Middle Eastern Goddesses it is interesting to note, that the wings of Isis the Egyptian Goddess may have been those of the Kite. The Kite of course now very familier to Cymru, recently I seen at least 20 plus covering in the hills in the west whilst I was on my way to Aberystwyth. There was a buetifull darkening sunset and indeed it was a mystical site to see these wonderful birds hovering possibly for some dusk killing of rodents, wonderful! but my camera battery had run out. On subject of Rodents, I can think of a few rats I would lile the 'Red Eagle' to feed well on, particulary ''SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSNAKES'' aka:

The ''Kights of Saint David'' may carry before them their ''Christian Cross'' but it will be we of the 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru' that shall seek the return of our 'Y Croes Naid'
This however, is also to symbolise fact that our campaign is a struggle to restore all our national treasures stolen since time of Conquest of 1282 - 3 - 4 and before. An aricle is being researched and will be 'On Line' to post along with detailed information regards how the campaign will be carried fourth and other useful details and information to sustain 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol' in this struggle unto victories as far as is patriotically possible. There in the ''Out Lands'' of an Hell of their own making the winter hungry Wolves may rip at their bodies and the Ravens feed of the flesh that remains on their bones, as become the fate of the Norman oppressors following the great Cymric Victory at the Battle of Llwchwr 1 Ionawr 1136. That should make 'Carlo' feel very safe as this bunch of ''fantasists'' who make good Pied Pipers in leading Patriots astray and up blind allyways as their 'Dydd Dewi' Parading and Posturing in Caerdydd. Their cheif objective is, to get all patriots into ''CILTS'' and become the nations ''TARTAN TAFF ARMY'' with ''100 KILTED DRUMMERS'' to drive our enemies away with a bit of Bang! Bang! Bang! but not quite the 'Shoot em dead'' stuff certain ''RETRO ROMANTIC REPUBLICANS'' fantazise in their ''Alcahol Fuelled Dreams'' and waffle about in their Rubbishy Republican Closets, they call web forums. Me got something against ''Welsh Republicanism'' No way! I made trip to Garreg Wasted on the coast of Penfro to find ''Welsh Republicanism'' but found none there, other than in Abergwuan the lonley and forgotten grave of the Rev Henry Davies of Llangloffen. I thence a few weeks later, in fact on 1st March I journied to Caerdydd with my Welsh Republican Tri - Colour to protest against visit of the English Royal Family to open the 'Sham Senedd'. See photo below that's me waving the Welsh Republican Flag'.

I looked around me there for ''Welsh Republicans'', a few present of the 'Guardian Newspaper Verity' as the Plaid Poppy Femme Trio of Leanne Woods, Jill Evans and up and coming PC ''new left starlet'' Bethan Jenkins. Oh yes! the ''Retro Rom Reps'' were there in form of Adam Phillips, Flintshires ''latter day Freedom Fighter'' but now ''Tartan Taff'' wee Drummer Boy'' with a couple of 'Balchder Boyos''. I did not see any of the erstwhile self Styled ''Welsh Republicans'', the ''Cymru Rydd Crackers'' (aka ''Welsh Republican Comment'' Closet/Forum), messers CD, SC, RE & SF & whoever? However where were the ''Old Die Hard Welsh Republicans'', on this 'Dydd Dewi 2006', why were they were up at the 'BLACK PIG' mobalising their ''Tartan Taff'' followers, a few ''Poodles'' but most unknowingly ''PATRIOTIC DUPES'' of the ''DEVOLUTION DILETTANTS'' and the Pied Pipers of the ''Knights of Saint David'' who were that day to send a ''Message of Treachery'' to the ''Sham Senedd'', believe it or not so called ''Welsh Republicans'' stood meekly by, as this was unfolding before their eyes. I SERIOUSLY WARN ALL PATRIOTS NOT JUST THOSE WHO WISH TO BECOME 'ADFYWIADWYR GWLATGAROL' KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM THE AFOREMENTIONED ''CREW OF CRONIES'' AND THE POLITICALLY CHALLENGED OF THE ''BALCHDER BOLLOCKS'' AND ''CYMRU RYDD CRAP''. I CANNOT MAKE IT ANY PLAINER THAN THAT, IF IT's ''ALTERNATIVE RADICAL NATIONALIST'' POLITICS YOU WANT? THEN MAY BE SOME DAY 'EIN GWLAD' WILL DELIVER THE GOODS BUT AT MOMENT NO SIGN OF THAT FROM THE WILDS OF MEIRIONYDD. OTHER THAN THAT IF YOU REALLY WANT A TRUE ''WELSH REPUBLICANISM'' LISTEN AND READ WHAT DAVID LAWRENCE HAS TO SAY, OTHERWISE JUST FORGET AND DEDICATE AND DEVOTE YOURSELVES TO ''MUDIAD ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL CYMRU''.

At least you will learn something new with our 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd' and I suspect it will be more fun too? We will at least take you out of the Box! What ''BOX?'' why the ''BOX of CONFORMITY'' you have been put in and had the lid put on and nailed down. The awful truth is many of you, of your own free will actually ''Jumped into the Box'' and yes! it was a bit of a ''TOY BOX'' and yes, she will have the LAST LAFF ON TAFF! If you do not wise up pretty fast! .

It is perhaps amazing how much we commemorate the very distant past but not commemorate our own recent history of struggle. Cofiwn feared not to commemorate both the 1831 Welsh Insurrection and also the 1969 Welsh Insurrection with event also organised in memory of the 'Abergele Martyrs'. For a good while highly successful commemoration was held in Abergele with march through the town to the graves of the Martyrs. Such were brought to conclusion on request from member of the Martyr's families, as to revive memories year after ear was becoming too painful to contemplate further. For a while after that Cofiwn organised a small 'symbolic event' at the gates of Caernarfon Castle on or about 1st July annually was the intention but when Cofiwn ceased to exist no others organisation was prepared to continue with such.

To give credit where credit is due it was left 'Balchder Cymru' to begin more impressive commemorations at graves of commandants Cayo and Coslett FWA with also a smaller rememberance gathering at the ''Marytyrs Stone'' in Eryri. I do not want to be critical of B.C. here but up in Eryri we only make the birds aware of this history as at Cilmeri we in main make sheep aware of that history. As 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol' you will of course see that we have need not only to commemorate our history and remember our heroes but that we must make our people aware of their history both ancient, medieval and contemporary. This such events are by a patriotic neccessity 'ADFYWIAD AGIT - PROP', this in mind and in connection with the advance of an 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd'. It is patriotic priority to remind also not just of our past struggle against an English Pretender in 'Adfywiad'69' but also remind we must prepare to campaign against the fourthcoming attempt to foist an English Pretender Prince of Wales upon us. There will be no better way of doing this than 'Adfywiad Action' at the gates of Caernarfon Castle annually on or about 1st July, possibly holding small ''Autonomous Adfywiad'' gatherings by individuals and groups placing 'Rememberance Ivy and Black Ribbon' to remind of the Insult of the Investiture of 1969. This may be proceeded or followed by the placing of 'Abergele Martyrs' floral Tributes and lighting of votive candles in their memory at the 'COFEB 1282' close by, clearly seen by it's 'metal eagle' atop.

From 1966 into 1967 and 1968 the annual Rali Cilmeri was focus of opposition and font of Welsh Resistance to the Investiture of an Englishman has ''Prince of Wales'', the 1967 witnessed launch of the Anti - Investiture Campaign and the 1968 Rally witnessed the fanal call to patriotic action. The Cilmeri gatherings will mark the 40th anniversaries of these historic events in our 'Hanes Adfywiad Gwladgarol', thus important that the 'Sacred Acre' once more becomes venue of a gathering not just of 'Cilmeriaid' but also of true, tried and tested 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol' to restore fully ''our covenant'' with the 'Ethos of Cilmeri'. Thus we shall make fertile the patriotic mind to recieve the 'Adfywiad Message', this time 'Victory Will Be Ours' but only if Patriots get their heads out of the sand, clear out of their minds ''Devolution Dilettante Distractions'' and stop worrying if their ''Cilt'' hem lines are too short or their legs too hairy. What's this about me and my ''Phobia'' of Kilts, I have no problem with Kilts as long as they are on Scotsmen and not Welsh men seeking to bathe in well deserved Scottish bravery which is associated with their Kilt. The whole 'Cilt Cymraeg' business I find at best no more than nonsensical ''Cambrian Commercialism'' but at worse when it becomes attached to promotion of a Spuedo Patriotism and the phoniness of the so called ''Knights of St David with a dubious beginnings and devious workings in semi secracy in advance of ''Christian charity?'' However, when such advances via ''Poodles'' and ''Dupes'' a misleading patriotism that I label ''Tartan Taffery'', then I just want to throw up! I am sure most patriots will too, when the so called ''Knights of Saint David'' are fully exposed for what they really are. Then dear Patriots you might and may decide for yourselves the big question: HAVE YOU BEEN NOT ONLY BEEN ''DUPED'' BUT ALSO PERHAPS ''MANIPULATED'' Like this nice ''Wee Drummer Boy'' of The 'Cambria Band'. Yes! Adam Phillips of 'Balchder Cymru', Flintshires erstwhile ''Freedom Fighter'' but now it seems wanting nothing else in life but to be a ''Sqeaky Clean'' boy in the ''Tartan Taff'' band of the Cambrian Legion? So sad, I had Adam, Andrew and the ''Cobbler'' down for being the future great leaders of the next Adfywiad Gwladgarol in years to come, of all the ''Young Turks'' they had the best ''full on'' patriotic potential, who with the rest of the 'Balchder Boyos' could have replaced in time all of us, ''Yesterday's Men'' but no, so, whom now will awake and arise to patriotically couragously commit to Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru?

To conclude may I say there is no truth in the rumour that my hostility to 'Kilts' comes from the fact that I am Merthyr born and it's in my genes to remember that it was ''Kilted Highlanders'' that marched from Brecon through the ''Workers Barrio'' of Cefn on into Merthyr Tudful. There stationed at the Castle Hotel about mid day of 3 June 1831 on ''Bloody Friday'' opened fire on protesting workers and people killing over 28 workers and people arisen to struggle for personal liberty and freedom from oppression.

Picture is of me, having my photo taken in the district known as Caedraw, Merthyr Tudful. Date, about 1950-ish? Whatever the important thing is, that Caedraw on the 3 June 1831, from dawn was in a revolutionary ferment. A few days before on the 31 May 1831, Lewis Lewis and other radicals had risen up a RED FLAG on Hirwaun Common by the 1 June 1831 a ''Workers Army'' was being assembled at Cefn on the outskirts of Merthyr. At this time Cefn was what might be described as a 'Tai Unnos Township' (''Barrio''), by the 2 June 1831 the ''Workers Army'' were occuping ground from Hirwaun, Aberdar to the north of Merthyr and into the hills above the road from Brecon where the English had a miltary base with a garrison regiment of 'Kilted Scottish Highlanders' (Is this why I am not fond of seeing Welsh men in Cilts?). By the 3 June 1831 the ''Workers Army'' with their supporting followers had ''Liberated'' much of Merthyr Tudful and had all but establed ''Workers Rule'' and ''People Power'' , if only a ''RED COMMUNE'' had followed, but this was not to be. On the 3 June 1831, news had reached Merthyr that forces of the ''British Army'' were on their way to quell this ''Popuar Welsh Workers Rebellion'', by mid - morning the Soldiers had arrived and had set up their H.Q, at the Castle Hotel in the centre of the Town. Later, about mid - day a massive crowd had gathered around the Castle Hotel, around which the soldiers stood guard with beynoted muskets threateningly toward the people. Lewis Lewis and other radical leaders of the ''Workers Army'' were allowed into the hotel to negotiate with the Town's establishment, but the negotiations were to break off with no agreement reached. Lewis Lewis at doorway of the hotel announced this to the crowd and a roar of disapproval shattered the silence, the workers raised up muskets and the crowd their pikes, pitcforks and sticks. As in all such events, what occurred next is unclear, as who give any order to attack the hotel but attacked it was and soon a real fight was on with the soldiers. The situation was proving dangerous for those in the Hotel with soldiers ''battling for their very lives'', when all of a sudden the soldiers fired at close range and when the musket smoke cleared up to 28 workers and their followers lay dead and dieing in and outside the hotel. Throughout the hours leading up to this confrontation the ''blooded Red Flag'' of Hirwaun Common had been seen throughout, now it was seen close by Lewis Lewis, held high by a miner later named as Billy Hughes. Amidst the screams of the wounded and dieing, the maddened shouts of the crowd, Lewis Lewis, musket held high took command and it was said he was heard to shout to his comrades the immortal words...

That's not the end of the story of the 1831 Insurrection, I will conclude in a later posting to this 'Adfywiad Blog', but I thought I had better get this in here, in one of the first postings for a number of reasons. As: Well, I was born in Merthyr for starters and grew up there for first five years of my 'Young Life' in of all places 'Caedraw', so maybe it was fate I would grow up to be a ''Natural Born Radical Resurgent''. However, for most of my adult life I have been more, first ''Super Patriot'', even on times perhaps an ''Ultra - Nationalist''. why and how I should have ''deserted'' by ''RED ROOTS'' and ''RED HERITAGE'', is as mystifying to me as it will be to you? However, that I hope will just be for an instant, as after you have ploughed through much in way of 'Patriotic Postings', I hope that despite a personal history of Patriotic Political Struggle within what I describe as an ''ALTERNATIVE WELSH NATIONALIST MOVEMENT'', within my heart there beats the flow of blood that is of Glyndwr's ''Barefoot Welsh Doggies'', his largelly ''Peasant Army''. In heart of hearts, my hopes and aspirations are with they and those who followed them; The peasantry who in the 16 the century resisted enclosures with the cry of ''Trech Gwlad Nag Arglwydd'', the peasantry of the 'Cefyl Pren' who fought against the injustice that would see them starve but would cry ''Bara Neu Waed''. This cry would become painted in red blood on the banners of the ''Insurrectionist of 1831'', so you will read within these postings, their story and that of the 'Scotch Cattle' and the ''Insurrectionists of 1839'', you will read too, of the 'Rebecca Rebellion'', The ''River Wars'' and ''Tithe Wars'' but also of the ''Agrarian Labourers Revolt''. Not least you will read of Miners and Quarry Workers Strikes, that's where it starts getting personal and almost within ''living memory'' for me and other, who are my comrades or freinds. However, you will have to deal with much patriotism, my 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol', as I often refer to it, you will hear much of Llywelyn and Cilmeri, also of Glyndwr and Corwen and Machynlleth, that's a deep ''medieval interest'' I cannot shake off, not that I really try. Whatever, let me make it quite clear that now more than ever it really is the events that took place at Hirwaun and Merthyr Tudful during the Red Week - 31 May to 6 June 1831 that greatly concern me.I call upon all to remember, and annually commemorate and yes, celebrate too, this great struuggle of the people and their ''Workers Army''. In time I will post details of a 'Radical 1831 History Trail'. However, that does not stop Robert Hinton, Cambria Magazine ''Staffer'' and by now possibly an ''un-kilted'' 'Knight of Saint David'...... he should hope! after first being rejected, but who knows, the secret workings of the Greater Kilted Ones? After all by now he should have proved his ''Pooodle Usefulness'' to the ''GRAND DRAGONS'' or what ever other name they give themselves out of the realms of latter day high '' Victorian Decadent and Declining Aristocratic Spuedo Free Masonary Fantasies'' which they indulge in. Sigh! that some so called ''Nationalists'' are so easlly 'DUPED' by the ''Johnie Come Latlies'' is beyond my 'Cymric Comprehension'.

RH is also requesting the ''Gombeens'' and ''Shoneens at the Assembly of Appeasement with English Imperialism and Neo - Colonialism to adopt the ''Anglican'' Cross of Saint David as their seal. WHAT A GOOD IDEA IT IS NOT! It's not! but why not! read on...

A Patriot sent me these reasons why not:

This cross of St. David should be unacceptable for three reasons. Reasons that should be obvious to anyone with an interest in Welsh history and sport.

1/ The cross of St. David is too closely associated with the Church of England - we were never an Anglican nation.

2/ The cross of St. David forms part of the badge of Cardiff City Football club - this will alienate people who support other Welsh clubs because they will see it as yet another example of creeping Cardiff influence.

3/ David was never really adopted in the north. Here it was Beuno and other saints who were more popular.

We already have a distinctive and internationally-recognised and nationally accepted flag, so why bother adopting an emblem that comes so compromised and could prove divisive?
The only reason I can think of is that those proposing its adoption believe it will not offend the unpatriotic and the non-Welsh among us. This see it as being 'neutral' . . . to the point of being meaningless. Right on Brother, quite right too! I can think of many more reasons!

The biggest reason, is the tainted history of how our homeland got 'Dydd Dewi' declared as a day to mark with celebration, it was a reward for treachery which few are aware of but here it is, please Welsh Patriots or rather 'Radical Nationalists' Pay Attention ok! following the 'Battle of Agincourt' which the English won with the aid of Welsh Archers, not quite true as English Archers outnumbered Welsh Archers but ''Brit Taffies'' love to repeat this story as much as rabbiting on about 'ZULU'. However, there were a good number of ''Taffies'' fighting for the English at Azincourt as arch Traitor Dafydd Gam and family, as well a number who had fought for Glyndwr but ''turned traitor'' and joined the English. Anyway, Henry V personally requested, Henry Chichele, the Arch Bishop of Canterbury to declare that 23 April, the feast day of St George be the special patron and protector of the English/British nation and that this day was to be celebrated as a feast day due to Henry V believing that St George intevened in the Battle to help the English win it. Henry V made a similar order on behalf of three Welsh Saints; Winefrid, Chad and David. This was of course an astute and gracious political acknowledgement of Welsh help to win the Battle and no doubt Henry and his Welsh Allies also believed that those three Welsh Saints intervened to win the day for England. Wonderfull!!! This illuminating information I got out of the book: Agincourt by Juliet Barker, worth a read! Thus, which ever way you cut it, celebrating 'Dewi Sant' is a bit of a non - starter for 'RADICAL NATIONALISTS'. It is little wonder that the 'Anglican Church' and the 'Welsh Division - British Army' prior to, and during WW II were happy to adopt 'The Cross of Saint David' as an emblem. After all it is quite in keeping with the spirit of the traitors as Davy Gam who fought for the English at Agincourt, YES! I suggest that 'Radical Nationalists' wake up to these facts and not be seen dead marching behind the 'Baner Dewi Sant' but only behind 'Baner Llywelyn' and 'Baner Glyndwr' or their own 'Baneri Gwladgarol'. You will find many such 'Baneri Gwladgarol' in postings throughout this blog, take note inparticular of 'Baneri Adfywiad' and my own designed 'Yellow Cross Baner'.

I originally produced this as an 'Alternative' Baner Dewi Sant, instead of the ''Anglican Version''. Skaneland/Skania (Sweden) has a flag 'Yellow Cross on Red', so I made my version retaining some black but otherwise the 'Yellow and Red' are the colours of the Royal House of Aberffraw, Gwynedd and of coourse of Owain Glyndwr. What do you think?

The Swedish Flag bears a Yellow Cross which is also used very much by a Swedish Neo - Nazi organisation called. The 'Yellow Cross' was also used by some italian Crusaders to the Holy Land. In the middle Ages 'Lepers' were made to mark their clothes with a 'Yellow Cross' as were 'Heretics', the most well known of such were the 'Cathars' of the Languedoc in ''Southern France''. A version was used by the Counts of Toulouse, a symbol you will see widely used today to identify the ''region'' of Occitania in the Languedoc today, by Cultural organisations, Nationalist Movements, Civic Authourities and Tourism bodies.

I also promote use of a 'Yellow Celtic Cross', as symbol of the 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' campaign for restoration of our 'Croes Naid' and other stolen national Treasures. Perhaps our use of a 'Yellow Cross' might also be seen as representingh the great Brythonic (Cymric?) Heretic 'Pelagius' whom Dewi Sant did despise and as an 'Augustine Agent' of Canterbury was ordered to stamp out the ''Pelegian Heresy'' in Cymru as well as stamp out Alchchol (Peripheral Pint Pot Patriots take note ok!) and fornicating with ''Irish Virgins'', especially if there were three of them, bit of a ''Dry Guy'' was our Dewi Sant. ap Sion, this is not the Saint for you boyo!!!

Robert Hinton also wants the ''MONSTROUS REGIMENT'' of 'Assembly Members' and as many ''Celebrity Cymry'' and of course 'Y Crachach Newydd' - England's Client Tribe in Cymru/Wales to march with him and other ''Knights of Saint David'' behind the Cambrian Band in the Cambrian/Tartan Centre organised annual 'Dydd Dewi' Parade of Spuedo Patriotism from the Tafarn Mochyn Ddu to the Steps of the 'Brit' ''National Museum of Wales''.HHHhhmmm!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT, YES! MORE RUBBISH FROM R.H, BUT WHAT TRUE PATRIOT OR RATHER RADICAL WELSH NATIONALIST WOULD EVER MARCH BEHIND THIS ''COLLECTION OF COLONIAL COLLABORATORS'', so what you going to on 'Dydd Dewi'? Well! Read this blog and you will get ideas as to any of number of 'ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL' activities you could be carrying out annually on 'Dydd Dewi' in Caerdydd.
