Towards a Mudiad Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru?

If ever a ' Mudiad Adfywiad Gwladgarol Cymru' (political) was to become a reality then first and foremost patriots must ‘Educate to be Free’. There can be no serious attempt at founding a new Nationalist Radical Republican Movement, nor advance of such movement in an effective struggle until such time as the ‘EDUCATING TO BE FREE IS DONE, However, note first, that any new Patriotic attempt to yet again rise up will be doomed to fail as in the past, if it insists on bad practise of meeting in pubs, and talking banalities with the 'Good Ole Boys of Peripheral Pint Pot Patriotism’ . Nothing wrong with socializing in pubs for fun, but forget the nonsense in believing that serious political thoughts come out of a pints of beer, so do not hold meetings in pubs, it is a bad practise, encourage by fools. MEETINGS MUST BE HELD IN PRIVATE UNLESS THEY ARE PUBLIC MEETINGS, AND ALL MEETINGS ARE HELD WELL AWAY FROM BOOZE. That for starters will keep the 'PISS ARTISTS' away, and it’s they as much as the 'Informer' and 'Agent Provocutuer' who will always be your greatest of potential ''internal enemies, got that? so deal with it or you will never become an Adfywiadwr Gwlatgarol Gwir. I do'nt intend to advocate the establish a revolutionary organisation but the 'BRIT S.S.' is a threat to even democrastic and constitutional movements and do not forget that OK! How many 'Alternative Nationalist' movements and groups in Wales, have been messed up by deliberate undermining by the 'Brit S.S.' which has led to movements collapse, as did 'Y Cyfamodwyr' and Welsh Independence Party with ''accusations'' of covert security service anti - nationalist operations being partly responsible. Plus of course do not forget in how the Brit S.S, was used to neutralise the Patriotic Front inspired and led Anti - Investiture Campaign and how in the 1980's a prefectly constitutional cultural organisation 'COFIWN' was assaulted in a massive overt attack on it's membership by the Welsh Special Branch and Police Services of Gwynedd and Dehuebarth.

Over the years since the ‘Adfywiad Gwladgarol Fawr’ 1962 - 69, in which by the way loads of mistakes were made, political and otherwise, not least by the PATRIOTIC FRONT in which I was involved. Please learn from that! I was saying…. since then, many ‘Alternative Nationalist Movements’ have arisen to the left, right and centre, these have included Welsh Republican Movenment II, the Welsh Socialist Republican Movement (also attacked by the state) and the late Welsh Independence Party. I single these three out because I consider them to have been not only worthy but also substantial attempts at founding a broad based ‘Alternative Nationalism’, although I was not involved with WIP at all, I was really wishing that Patriotic Party great success and thus I was greatly upset when it demised. In it’s wake there has arisen two new particular ''patriotic grouplets'', since 2004 there has come into existence the pretense so called ''Welsh Republicanism'' of Cymru Rydd aka Welsh Republican Party. Just go look at their web site, and hopefully like me you will say ''What on Earth have we got here?'' I cannot really distinquish a great deal of difference between they, and CYMRU 1400, RED DRAGON MOVEMENT and BALCHDER CYMRU, the essentialities of all these ''Remnant Republicanisms'', is that they are all at heart ''Retro Republican Romantic'' with more of a penchant for an hankering after 60’s militancy of the FREE WALES ARMY rather, than say the more political radicalism of the PATRIOTIC FRONT. They also all share something else in common, which I find really odd about patriots who proclaim from the roof top that they are 'REPUBLICANS' , that is their ''Love for Cymric Royalty'' where one sees these ''Welsh Republicans'' more often as not commemorating ''Cymric Aristocratic History'' rather than any attempt to commemorate a possible ''Welsh Republican History'', I can but Taff laff!

Now you might say, that I am ''the pot calling the kettle black'', after all this Adfywiad Gwladgarol Blog, and I for most of my adult life have spent a lot of time on Cilmeri and Cymric Princes, but then I have never gone around making a vice or a virtue of calling myself a ''Welsh Republican'' but considering myself more a ''Welsh Remembrancer'' For most part of my ''nationalist activity'' in life, I have focused on Cofiwn and history and out of that has come this major effort now, to focus on a more definite Cymric Consciousness Campaign first and foremost. If in time others want to make of it’s ''radical nationalism'' something else, as political? then that’s up to others in the future not I? I will explain further, later on in this article. Suffice to say, I am not without ''Radical Republican'' sympathies but if you look into my ‘RED REMEMBRANCER BLOG’ http://redremembrancer.blogspot.com/ you will see that ''politically'' I am actually more to the left. Unfortunatly, the ''Radical Left’' in Wales, is in a worse state of disunity and disrepair, than our much demising ''Alternative Nationalism''.

However, the only real serious ''Radical Republicanism'' in Wales that I see being spoken of , is by David Lawrence and not the ''Retro Republican Romantics'' whom only make me despair at their ''imature adventurism'' and generally silly pathetic so called politics. However, I am well ''Passed it Politically'', but if I were not, then I would right now be defiantly pressing on patriots the ''RED ROAD OF MY MERTHYR 1831 COMMUNE''. There is not enough time or opportunity for myself to fully go down that road, which I know at this time would only hit the same rail head buffers that Cymru Goch II hit, in collision with the 'Welsh Socialist Alliance' then there is this 'Social Forum Cymru’ thing, if it still actually exists which confuses a ''Welsh Left'' with their, essentially “Bourgeoise Banalities”. Thus, I am sticking with what I know best, largely history but this time around my ‘Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd’ is more, a ''militant radical'' Cofiwn moving toward a Cymric Consciousness Campaign. It is such which this blog promotes, but which I am only rather passively doing in advance of ideas and initiatives by means of my thoughts, out of research in history. I also am inspired by similar struggles by other peoples as the American Indian Movement, Barrio Warriors of present times, not forgetting the ‘Black Consciosness’ struggles in South Africa and in America, of the Black Panthers and Black Muslims with whom I have much sympathy.

I have not made much of ‘Y Cyfamodwyr’, not because I do not consider it of import or of little consequence. I helped bring that ''Baby'' into existence, and it had a lot going for it but it failed when it should not have, one of the big mistakes it made was starting to hold meetings in pubs, plus of course it became so easy for a few people of doubtful political and patriotic persusion to join, some of whom were ‘INFORMERS’ and others possible ‘AGENT PROVOCUTUERS’. Usually let in by those of the ''Good Ole Boy Pint Pot Peripheral Patriot'' mentality. Further, ''Cyfamod –ism'' was an excellent concept of a radical Cymric Consciuosness, it should never have been allowed to pass away but the few who were more dedicated than others should have kept an ‘Ysbryd Cyfamod’ alive, as I and a few others over 40 years have kept an ’Ysbryd Cofiwn’ alive. It is only lack of real patriotic enthusiasm, short political sightedness and perhaps laziness and stupidity that made sure an ‘Ysbryd Cyfamod’ did not arise. For same reasons, the ‘Ethos of Cilmeri’ has been allowed to die, at the hands of ''Dopes and Dillettantes'' who have become the post Devolution Poodles of 'Tartan Taffery' .So, if I do not mention much about ‘Cymdeithas Cyfamod’, it is largely because most of they, ultimately in the long term proved a big ''Let Down'', but I have not entirely ''thrown the baby out with the bathwater'', I have tried to introduce some ''Cyfamod-ism'' into this 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' under development and advance in this blog. Following on decline of WIP, we have seen out of it’s ''remnants'' arise what has become the ''Balchder Boyos'' and the so called ''Cymru Rydd Crowd'', both of whom have again stupidly gown down the wrong road. Am I wrong, no! I am not wrong. the ''Balachder Boyos'' cannot make up their mind as to what colour shirt to wear or to be a 'Tartan Taffs' or not? Sad! As they had ''the makings'' while the erst while ''Republican Party'' aka 'Cymru Rydd' are in a shambolic state regards ''money matters'' it seems, not knowing how best to spend the cash on behalf of the cause? Have none of you learnt lessons out of the Cyfamodwyr failiure, after a great start KAPUT! Same the Welsh Independence Party, KAPUT! and just why was this? I am not exactly sure, other than personalities seem to have intruded on common sense?

In general these days, post 2000, there is just a bit too much PATRIOTIC POSING, POSTURING AND PARADING, though that CYMRU RYDD CROWD are a bit on the shy side, the ''Balchder Boys'' are not, but in fairness to them, they do put in a lot of enthusiasm and effort into what they do. like I said ''they had the makings'' but there is/was something not quite right, largely ''Historical ignorance as much as Political ignorence'', I must admit I was in this area myself in the 60’s but have moved on greatly. My excuse was having not much to look back on or look too, the ''Blachder Boys'' or rather their ''leadrership'' does have 40 years to look back on, to remedy mistakes and radically prepare for the future, but they threw it, and not really difficult to see why. They became a “COSLETT AND CAYO CULT” rather that what they essentially boasted to be, potentially the basis of a good radical CYMRIC CONSCIOUSNESS CAMPAIGN, even a new Patriotic Resurgent Movement, which I am now having to promote largely due to their failings, or rather that of it’s leadership; Moz, Adam, Paul and Andrew and yes! my old comrade Denis Coslett. It was this ''collective'' with others that took the initial essentially good idea of Adam’s ‘Balchder Cymru’ down the path of the so called MUDIAD RHYDDHAD CYMRU – WALES LIBERATION MOVEMENT, what the hell where they thinking about? Second lesson perhaps is, that you adopt a name you really can live up to, with objectives you can achieve and not fantasise about as being ''FREEDOM FIGHTERS’’. I am told that this whole MRhC, has now been ''kicked into touch'', where hopefully B.C. will join it, so making more possible the rise of a really RADICAL NATIONALIST PATRIOTIC RESURGENCE MOVEMENT and STRUGGLE maybe! We shall see? Thank the gods that B.C. is fast learning to do something useful, has learn how to bang drums, even if they do wear 'CILTS’, it’s better than pretending to be ''Freedom Fighters'', for sure?

EDUCATE, ORGANISE AND AGITATE!

I see that the ''Balchder Boyos'' have downed their so called ‘ERYR GWYN’ political ''Think Tank''. Hope fully soon they and those ''Political Dopes'' in Cymru Rydd will issue public statements saying they are history, FULLSTOP! Or other wise they hinder and halt the possible rise of a MUDIAD ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL CYMRU? Although note, I am not going to start down that road, I will leave others, a new generation of patriots to make that historic decision or not? All that I am doing is offering information and advice that may be of possible use to such ends. However, I also say, such is perhaps a long way off, as a lot of ground work needs to be done first, as EDUCATING TO BE FREE, by educating to be free, I mean that you truelly educate yourselves in your history, that of the people as well as the princes.

Then having considered all this, and you are feeling ready and ''up for the action'' and want to know when and where to start, that is simple. Start now by the very simplest of first steps after reading and studying regualarly the above, make a flag – commit to a little ''home activity'' before you go out to commit PATRIOTIC ACTION ON A PUBLIC STAGE, that will show you really do mean patriotic business. It will indicate that you are not just a ''Joiner'' just an ''Attendee'' of endless and useless meetings, or ''hanger on'' who simple becomes a ''Posuer'' doing little but ''posturing'' and pointlessly parading without any real purpose, as to the ''Tartan Taffs' at their annual Dewi Parade in Cardiff.. Nor that you are likely to become, god forbid a ''Good Ole Boy of Pint Pot Peripheral Patriotism'' and do nought but contaminate those who might want to do more than ''dribble their dreams of freedom into their pint pots''. Next! You ask? Where do I start, that’s simple, if you have made your flag, you can make placards too, so go get stuck into a protest, local or national as against Windmills or whatever, as supporting CYMUNED ACTIVITY.

In time you will become a formidable ‘Adfywiadwr Gwlatgarol’ AGIT – PROP ACTIVIST, being reminded that annually you will gather at the annual ‘Rali Cilmeri’ and reclaim over the coming three years 2007/8&9, that “Sacred Acre” as your chief gathering with the great patriotic purpose of restoring the ‘Ethos of Cilmeri’. Whence this has been done, by 2009, we will have our MUDIAD ADFYWIAD GWLADGAROL CYMRU, Movement and Struggle, but only of you make it happen. Do not count on me, as I am as much a ''Yesterday Man'’, as much as my old comrades and former friends. It’s you, future patriotic generations will make this happent not us, our day is over. So go fourth, multiply and make it happen? Yes! Go On - Do It?
