Cayo - The Musical? Cayo - The Myth? whatever, one thing is for sure he will be remembered long after Dan O'Neill is dead and bueried but I could not help a smile at some of the things written up by this rather 'Desperate Dan'. Particularly the ref to the FWA making 'Dad's Army' look like the SAS, one thing for sure Cayo would have had a laugh at that as well, he had a good sense of humour. After all said and done with even a Pub named after him, there in Ogof Glyndwr, he's having the last laugh perhaps and why not! He was after all a 'Cheeky Chappie' with a great sense of humour but also a most loyal compatriot, I never ever heard Cayo really slag anyone off who was a patriot but the Coppers he would never forgive. He was not two faced and he was not a self serving, self advancing false Patriot, he was a true patriot and alright he never became a 'Che' or an IRA style Freedom Fighter but then he never killed anyone either perhaps that's why he's a 'Welsh Hero'. Even if a bit of a 'Woolfie' as one lot of Film Makers might turn him into with their idea of making a comedy film, they told me something more serious would not get the funding? Myself I am not interested in a musical or a comedy film, I will complete my book as sooner as later and let Patriotic Posterity worry about what we 'Adfywiadwyr Gwladgarol' achieved, if anything at all in our 'Sixties Struggle? Cayo - The Myth, I guess so! as the real heroes are of course Owen Williams and John Jenkins but interestingly no one seeks to make of they same as what is made of Cayo, just Google the Web and you will see it's Cayo is the 'Main Man'. As for Dan O'Neill, whose he when at home? a Lickspittal Journalist for Western Mail, there is much that is in nature of 'Home Truth' in what he had to say but then Cayo and Coslett were playing a 'Dangerous Game' letting the Press use them so much. Although I considred it useful to prompt Cayo to carry on with Anti - Investiture Press Propaganda and as a last resort see if their 'Western Command' was up to any real use regards Caernarfon'69, Such that was Camp Abergwesyn and the epic escape across the mountain, terrific stuff at last! What on earth was Ian Bone thinking of with his idea of 'Cayo - The Musical', we already have that every year at Rali Cilmeri with the Red Choir and Balchder Cymru banging their drums but good for little else. It seems their dream of being Freedom Fighters is not high on the agenda these days, I don't expect them to be as FWA or MAC. Just maybe a little like as example our really radical resurgent 'Patriotic Front' style 'sixties' activism, well in the face of British Imperialism some more than they have been, to live up to the boasting by parading about as a default. So, if a musical gets a 'go' I guess there are likly more patriots to participate in such than any real active patriotic struggle. I must admit there possibly is something it it maybe, this Cayo - The Musical? after all the songs are there mostly written by Meic Stephens and Harri Web plus there's Cayo's Accordian Music now available on CD. Myself I would start of with an up beat version of 'Calon Lan' and conclude with 'Tramp! Tramp! Tramp The Boys are Marching' to a fade out curtain drop ending. Indeed why not turn Rali Cilmeri into a full on musical as it must be getting pretty boring in it's patriotic pointlessness by now, 40 years on from the last Rali organised there by the 'Patriotic Front in 1970. The 'Patriotic Front' was but in existence for five years and managed to achieve much more on the front line of struggle than 'Balchder Cymru' has achieved in 10 years, as for 'Cymru 1400', 'Fe Godwn Ni Eto' and 'Eryr Wen' sad to say they will achive little more. I must appear hard and ruthless in my attitude about these guys running such stuff but, I have been around the block for 45 years. Seen it! Done it! and bought the T-Shirt and far from sitting on the side lines offering advice on struggle have continiued to be an active patriot. In the case of aforementioned speaking my mind, get of your asses and engage in real radical struggle as I have actually engaged in Patriotic Activism for many years not least in recent years at Chapter Arts Centre and Welsh Assembly as just two examples of taking Direct Action. I will go easy on these guys when they become open to whom they are, Identify themselves and clearly declare object, aims and strategy plus political position as they leave so much hang in the air which leads to a number of questions. As I said, I have seen it all before not least Informers and Agent Provocutuers at work but what concerns me now is not having to put up with just imature and infantile opportunist adventurists but those who would make of other patriots, possibly like they no more than Knee Jerking Super Patriots and thus CRACH FODDER!

Crachach, it's a bit more than described in above blog but you can start there as long as you remember there exists or did once, an 'English Speaking' 'Taffia'. Whatever, at end of the day it's down to this, I regard the likes of BC/Cymru 1400 etc as the new Welsh Nationalist 'Ultras' of which we have had too much of in the past that as failed as they will for sure, the writting is already on the wall despite all their facebook fantasies. Maybe they need some lessons from Ian Bone and his Class War, as maybe we need to come up with some 'CRACHWAR' soon?
