2007: May Spring Bank Holiday Meanderings.

Hello, it's Lizzie again! guess what? yes! those nice 'Sham Senedd Shisters'' have invited me down to lovely ''Kerdiff'' to open my wonderful ASSEMBLY OF APPEASEMENT with ENGLISH IMPERIALISM next week (That's Tuesday 5 June 2007) . So I will be down there soon, and please those ''Cheekie Chappies'' who wave Welsh Republican flags at me, and hold placards saying nasty things about me, some even boo me! Well! watch it? as if you do it again - I will tell my ''Boys in Blue'' to give you good kicking between the legs. No! I don't mean you "Uncle Tom Taffies", I know I can count on you to be in your usual great grovelling funny form. I mean those ''Nasty Nashy'' sorts and really ''Bad Ass Adfywiadwyr''.

That reminder over, for all you RAMPANT RAGING RADICAL REPRESSED REPUBLICANS out there, just dieing to get off ''Couch Cymru'' and do some PATRIOTIC PROTEST. I can now get on with telling you about my recent meander around Cymru over the May Bank Holday, northward towards 'Y Berfeddwlad' and Sir y Fflint via our buetiful midlands of 'Marcher Walliae'. Southward it was through 'Pura Walliae' aka 'Tiroedd Cunedda'. Visited many locations of interest not least Rhuddlan and it's Edwardian Castle. Afterwhich I visited Edward I's ''Parliament House'' location at which the 'Statutes of Rhuddlan'' were promlugated and thrust upon us as the 'Conquorors Colonial Charter' of 1284. But having read the plaque on this building, what I had not realised was that this 'Colonial Charter' guarenteed our homelands Independence, STUPID ME! and possibly ''Stupid You''. If you like me have been wasting years in struggle to Liberate our Country from English Conquest when Edward I actually conquored us to help us become really Independant? HHHhhhmmm!!! this is something like Lizzies is doing next week in Caerdydd. So, Republicans Relax, Protests are off?

The Plaque commemorating Edward I's guarentee of Welsh Independence, the date 1283 is given but surely it means 1284. The 725th anniversary is in 2009.

Of course I was joking when I said protests were off, they were not even on in the first place. So, if anyone out there intends to organise a protest, like all the Welsh Republicans we have running around of every description, ''Cilted'' and otherwise? JUST LET ME KNOW AND I WILL PASS THE PROTEST OF ANTI - ENGLISH MONARCHY DEMONSTRATION MESSAGE ON.

Of course for the ''White Chickens of Cilmeri'', a protest will not be as exciting as hanging out with the screaming and dancing young ''Munchkins'' of the Dydd Dewi Parade, although possibly these ''Munchkins'' could pull off a better Patriotic Protest that the ''White Chickens of Cilmeri''. (just wait till you see this lot getting their "meaningless medals" at Cilmeri, soon on 'Your Tube', LAFFS FOR TAFFS)

Photo below is a memorial at Aberffraw, it commemorates conquest of the Royal House of Gwynedd in 1282. The Shield designs within the memorial are up side down, symbolic of defeat and death of Llywelyn III on 11 Rhagfyr 1282. The other illustration is my more ''in your face message'', I silkscreened this as sticker and poster, caused bit of an outrage around Portmadog at height of Tourist Season, some time in the 70's? I guess it's message is becoming the reality in the third millenium, as they used to shout out every night in Swansea Prison, ''NOT LONG NOW!''. Once some one had started that, everyone joined in this sad Jail birds chorus at Sunset, as for Cymru/Wales today, I guess we can start to sing a SWAN SONG? (if anyone wants to reissue below, go ahead).

Found this on the web, a new variation of the White Eagle Cross, do not like the colour but then, it is possibly appropriate, do I really have to spell that out, I do? OK! S.H.I.T.T.Y. The design was on TAFFIA DON BLOG, go check him out. Good design Don! How's about this below, check this out, Adam and the band, have made it big in BALA, they obviously have fans there. Some one stuck these newspaperr cuttings up in a Cafe Window.

How is it Adam is getting thinner and looking younger, whilst I only get fatter and older, maybe I should take up wearing a ''Crappy Cilt Cymru'', no! I will never become a ''TARTAN TAFF''. Note the headline reads that Adam leads Wales' only ''Kilted Band'', please good god keep it that way, the thought of more springing up leaves me feel quite edgy and despondant. The only music I want to hear is ''ROUGH MUSIC'', as in ''Cefyl Pren Protests'' reworked for PATRIOTIC PROTEST TODAY & TOMORROW!

OTHER MATTERS ARISING IN THE DIEING DAYS OF THE MONTH OF MAY.

Having a wander around the web, I came accross this ULSTER NATIONALIST WEB SITE, wanting Independence for Ulster - ''The Third Way''. What caught my attention is that they had been reading up on John Jenkins, Welsh Patriot and quoted from his writtings twice. It is obvious from a quick read of this site, that this ''Ulster Nationalism'' comes from within the ''Protestant Tradition'' and that it appears to be right of centre, there is some material of interest within which may be informative to 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol'. Further, of interest is fact that I remember that during my years of exile in Dublin in early 70's there exised an IRISH COMMUNIST ORGANISATION based in ''Ulster'' who promoted the idea of an Ireland of ''Two Nations'' toward an ''Autonomous Ulster'' similar to ideas on this web site. The Issue of ''Autonomy'' might arise more and more in Cymru/Wales over the Months ahead, perhaps forced on the agenda of Welsh Politics by the Welsh Assembly Government Cabinet selected by first Minister Rhodri Morgan being all ''Hwntws''. This is causing great consternation in other parts of Cymru/Wales, forgetting for a moment other rural parts of 'Marcher Walliae' (Penfro, Powys and Y Berfeddwlad), The Southern March of ''Tir Hwntw'' (Glamorgan and Gwent), the ancient Kingdom of Glywysing and before that ''Siluria'' appears to be holding all the cards within W.A.G. Can there be no better arguement for calling for ''Home Rule All Round'', by this I mean seeking and advancing greater ''autonomy'' to Powys and Y Berfedwlad in an 'Autonomous Eastern Marcher Walliae Region'. The South becomes an 'Autonomous Siluria Socialist Soviet Republic', Whilst 'Pura Walliae' (Gwynedd and Dehuebarth) becomes an 'Autonomous Tiroedd Cunedda'. Is this a completly mad idea or is there something in it? could this be a Welsh/Cymru Third Way? Think on it, but I am already thinking of a 'Republika Siluria' Flag. Pirates of Carribean III out and doing well, this interest in Pirates is certainly making Barti Du a bankable book winner, prompted by my grandchildren wanting to play Pirates and make me walk the plank etc, I have treated myself to buying two of these books: Black Bart Roberts by Terry Breverton and If a Pirate I must be by Richard Sanders plus opposite booklet for the grand children. I confess, I have also bought myself a Pirate costume so we can play pirate games down on the beach. First chance I get I will bury them up to their necks in the sand, after we bury the treasure and I have pocketed the map. C'mon I am in to my second childhood, though maybe I never left my first childhood? After all who but a child could concievably swallow the ''Nashy Nonsense'' I have swallowed in my time? Although I guess I am a bit grown up if I do not fall for the rubbish that the Welsh Assembly ''Senedd'' is actually a real Parliament, how about you? PS: Black Bart started is career as a Slaver, you know!
