CYMRU 1400 IS TO ESTABLISH AN ESCAPE THE ENGLISH ROYAL WEDDING CAMP ON THE ANGLESEY MONA SHOWGROUND ON 29 APRIL 2011.

The Cymru 1400 Central Committee has reviewed what it does on 29 April and we have come to the decision that the Balchder Cymru Camp Corris is not remote enough to tuelly escape the English Royal Wedding and thus we decamp from that idea. Having given the matter deep thought and after a serious search of the World Wide Web to find somewhere to camp that will truelly be an escape from the Royal Wedding, thus after much deliberation we have decided that only one location in the whole of the land fits this requirement. That is the Mona Showground on Ynys Mon and having approached the Anglesey Tourism Partnership to request permission to set up camp we are pleased to announce that we are more than welcome to come and camp free for the day. Plus we are welcome to participate in a number of exciting events as hunt the Taffies, in which we can participate as the Taffies this really sounds like good fun but we will have to avoid the dogs! The highlight of our day will be a grand parade around the show ground behind the Valley RAF Marching Band. I am particularly looking forward to ending the day with a Helicopter trip over the Irish Sea and being thrown out without a parachute, a trip kindly paid for by Gethin Welsh Remembrancer. Altogether this should prove to be a most exciting day and I am glad we have made this decision, as to be quite honest five days with Adam was just four days more than I could stand. All Welcome!
