ARMCHAIR FANATIC: Radical Nationalist Magazine, Winter 2010 Issue.

From the present day post Cyfamodwyr/WIP 'Patriotic Fringe' in the realms of the Red Dragon Movement and Balchder Cymru comes Armchair Fanatic magazine. Whilst EIN GWLAD magazine content was the 'usual suspects' pretentious patriotic prattle from failed 'Good Ole Boys' and fellow travellers to no where. ACF on the other hand is quite ''explosive'' in ones face, going where other publications might not dare? It's full of much interesting stuff to read including medieval and modern Welsh History and a great alternate Welsh History story 'The Socialist Republic of Wales'. Plus much much more, but be warned the 'Nalin Palin' feature might not be to every ones taste. On the whole Armchair Fanatic is the one and only best 'hard copy' read on the Patriotic Fringe these days and what makes it really interesting is that it's publishers have 'jumped out of the box' and are aiming the magazine at young football supporters and not the dried up dissident areas in and around failed Retro/Romantic Welsh Republicanism.

I cannot say that I am overwhelmed with so much glorification of Welsh Militancy; FWA, MAC & Meibion Glyndwr as if their rocky roads were of much value in our present times. By all means lets not forget the role of our patriotic Freedom Fighters in past struggles and, let us commemorate them and their actions . But as history to inform not needs be inspire or aspire to similar action in our times, I have made my views on this known well enough. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I ENCOURAGE WORKING CLASS YOUTHS TO RISK LIFE AND LIMB FOR 'CRACHACH, COUNTRY or CULTURE, got to be joking! when 'Y Crachach' ain't got the guts to even protest at the Gate of Caernarfon Castle against another Englishman as Prince of Wales? Yes! I have said it before, again and again and will go on repeating it until lessons are learnt and, I see a change in the hearts & minds of 'Y Crachach Newydd'. Like the day when they at last realise that petitions and poetry count for nothing in the struggle against the English claim to sovereignty over our country and communities, until such day arises I will continue to believe this lot have indeed become no more than the grant grabbing Client Tribe of English Neo Colonialism in Wales. Meanwhile, respect to the 'Barrio Warriors' of Balchder Cymru and it's members & supporters who this year have stood at the Gate of Caernarfon Castle. I believe it is from amongst their ranks that this ARMCHAIR FANATIC Magazine has sprung, proving that they are not literally armchair fanatics but more and more becoming ADFYWIADWYR GWLADGAROL, we shall see soon enough no doubt for they have began the journey in the first instance to face and overcome fear!

Have not read myself yet, will be interested in patriotic views and oppinions, some one told me it's ''counter revolutionary'' stuff, bit Black Propagandish?
