The Feather Duster.

Yes! I am talking about those infamous ''Three Feathers'' which most Welsh People, even Cymry and also suprizingly a number of Welsh Nationalists as well, believe is a ''patriotic Welsh symbol''. One ''Welsh Patriot'' actually put a photograph on one of his web sites of a 'Three Feather Tattoo' with the most stupid of suggestions, that our people should ''adopt'' this 'English Symbol' associated with our conquest. For god sake! that is what our people have done rather slavishly ''adopted'' these 'three feathers', the symbol of our servitude to the ''English Princes of Wales'' and thus recognising the sovereingnty of the English Crown over our hopeland, communities and our people. 'Adfywiadwyr Gwlatgarol' would hope all Welsh Nationalists not only reject this 'symbol of servitude' but join with us in this area of our campaign to de - colonise the Welsh Mind and rid our land of such 'symbols of conquest and colonisation', you can join us in this struggle by various means. In the first instance by answering our call for our people to reject this 'symbol of servitude' and to such great patriotic purpose, see our suggestions below and read also below the true history as to how we actually did slavishly ''adopt'' the 'Three Feathers' as a ''Welsh Symbol''. It's a pretty sad story and we cannot blame the English for it either, only our selves, accept that! and make ammends for such ''slavish stupidity'' by doing something about it ok! now read on:

2007 marks the 725th anniversary of the conquest of our homeland by Edward I completing in the years 1282 - 84 three centuries of 'Anglo - Norman' aggression, piecemeal conquest and colonisation. However, it was on the 11th December 1282 that Llywelyn ap Gruffydd 'Tywyson Gwynedd' and ''High King of Wales'' aka 'Tywysog Cymru' was murdered by assassins at Aberedw in central Cymru. Following his death, Llywelyn III was beheaded, his bloodied head was taken to Edward I and he ordered it to be taken to London and there on the ramparts of the 'Tower of London', the head of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd was mockingly crowned with Ivy.....

Since the early 1970's COFIWN the now disbanded ''Cymric Consciousness'' Movement as advocated the wearing of an Ivy Leaf annually on and around 11 Rhagfyr as a symbol of Rememberance 'Cofia 1282'.

The ''Feather Duster'' is seen as an 'image' worn on clothing and worse offender in it's contemporary promotion is the WRU with all it's commercial products, they are not the only offenders but it is their products which are more commonly seen and promoted in many ways. So with the 'Six Nations Rugby Internationals' beginning today, it is perhaps apt we begin our ''Ditch the Duster' campaign. Thus we appeal to one and all who by unfortunate error have bought WRU 'Team Wales' Hats and Shirts bearing the offensive ''Saxon Symbols'' to rip them 'em off or at least cover them up, as follows:

As for the 'Three Feather Tattoos' (beloved by RWFies), sorry guys they got to go and I must earnestly suggest you go and get them removed and in their place, why not get an Ivy Tattoo, a terrific tattoo to get done to commemorate 'Cofia 1282' in this year of the 725th anniversary. Go on! Go for it? I got mine done on the hand where it can be seen but guys, the usual places, and as for the ladies, I am sure they will know best where to have their tattoos placed, particularly for sure our Adfywiad Gwladgarol ''She Dragons''.

Yes! not very ''Politically Correct'' but guess what, this time around the 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Newydd' must of neccessity completly ''JUMP OUT OF THE BRIT BOX'' and avoid ''Crachach Cymru Cajoling'' to think and act as they! YES! ''BRIT THINK!''

The Three Feathers of the English Princes of Wales.

........Most awfully the truth is that the Welsh once more scored an home goal re the ''Feather Duster'', originally nought but a heraldic device of the English Princes of Wales from the 13th century (you are aware of this much, so I will not repeat). In 1715 against background of major “Jacobite disturbances” in Scotland, the servile grovelling ‘London Welsh’ established the ‘THE MOST HONARABLE AND LOYAL SOCIETY OF ANCIENT BRITONS’. The purpose of which was to demonstrate the loyalty of the London Welsh to the 'House of Hanover' and of dispensing charity to boys of poor Welsh parents. This Society was actually founded at a dinner on 1 March 1715, not just because it was St David’s Day but because it was the birthday of the reigning English Princess of Wales. This "Welsh Hanoverian Horror" thence adopted the “Feather Duster” as their badge and there you go – that’s the awful truth, as I said another inglorious Welsh home goal. It gets worse out of all this "Welsh Hanoverian Horror" is born “WELSH ANGLO – SAXON PROTESTANTISM”, imbued with a refreshed very “RACIST” which is both Anti – Irish and most radically Anti - Catholicism. This “WASP DISEASE” (with it’s roots back in times of the Tudor Protestant Reformation in Cymru) over the next 200 years comes to influence developing modern Industrial Wales in areas of Commerce and Culture and not least in sport plus of course recruitment into the British Army (see RWF in Ireland and America). Sadly “WASPISM” during the 19th century comes to “rope in” use of Welsh History to support it’s ends as example see that awful conclusion to the history book WALES by founder of Yr Urdd Owen Edwards; that ends with the ''Feather Duster'' Motto, Yes! "ICH DIEN" but lets quote the actual last sentence in this book "the motto of Wales is to be that of its prince – Ich Dien". Yes! This is the man often described as a ''Welsh Patriot'' that founded Yr Urdd, and whose grand son for many years run S4C and much else in Wales. Into this "WASP MIX" during the 19th century is used the St David’s Day ingredient as often as not employed as means of setting the Welsh against the Irish in the Southern Industrial towns where Irish migrants, escaping the great famine, have sought work. It is most unfortunate that in the eyes of many St David’s Day is almost inseparable from “WASPist” ideals of loyalty to the English Crown, especially to the English Princes and Princesses of Wales (Ich Dien, loyal toast and all that). Matters I shall continue with at another time, suffice to say: if I were to believe in "conspiracy theories'' I would certainly go for the “biggie” which guesses at the probability that there exists today in Cymru a “Secret Society” almost similar but today not so “racist”, as the post Boer War “Broderbund” (See Hen Crachach in Cymru). However, in the Cymru of today such “Victorian left overs” are pretty redundant compared to the rise of the “Crachach Newydd Caerdydd” (our Nouveau Riche) – England’s Client Tribe in Cymru. So yes! Do one and all, see it as your ‘patriotic duty’ to campaign against use of the “Feather Duster’’ and more so campaign for it’s boycott. Apart from it’s “racist roots” it can hardly be the badge of any one who wishes to express loyalty to Cymru, it is the symbol of “WASP WALES” that expresses loyalty to the English Monarchy and therefore to England and not to Wales. Yes! Wear a WRU team shirt but cover up that “Feather Duster” with the the 'Cofia 1282 Black Ribbon' only such will truly indicate where your loyalties lay – with Cymru and not with “WASP WALES” or England.
